OUR PARTNERS
Historically, while remaining independent and prizing the autonomy of the local church, Baptist congregations have found ways to affiliate and partner together in order to contribute to the growth of God’s kingdom in ways we could never do alone. We are proud to continue living out that tradition as we partner with the organizations listed below. Please click on their name to explore more about these great organizations.
COOPERATIVE BAPTIST FELLOWSHIP
The Cooperative Baptist Fellowship is a Christian network comprised of individuals and churches that work together to spread the hope of Christ. Our diverse community includes partners all over the globe, and our fellowship supports a wide range of missions and ministries that give people meaningful opportunities to put their faith to action. With a deep respect for freedom, diversity, and equality, we encourage autonomy while inviting collaboration.
For nearly 25 years, CBF has been driven by its mission to serve Christians and churches as they discover and fulfill their God-given mission and to live into our vision to be a national and global community bearing witness to the Gospel in partnership with Christians across the nation and around the world.

The Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of Virginia (CBFVA) is a community of Baptist Christians and churches walking together and drawn toward the center of our common life in Jesus Christ. We share this fellowship with God, whom we have come to know through Christ. We serve as co-laborers with the Holy Spirit in God’s mission.
BAPTIST GENERAL ASSOCIATION OF VIRGINIA
The Baptist General Association of Virginia (BGAV) is a cooperative missions and ministry organization that consists of over 1,400 autonomous churches in the Commonwealth of Virginia, as well as churches from Seoul, South Korea, Toronto, Ontario, the District of Columbia, and the states of California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, and West Virginia.
Geography does not limit churches from joining the mission and vision of the BGAV. The ministries of the BGAV are coordinated through the staff who work through five ministry teams who work alongside churches to help them be more effective in their ministries.
The Baptist General Association of Virginia (BGAV) was established in 1823 and it has always existed to “furnish the Baptist churches of Virginia a medium of cooperation for the propagation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and for the advancement of the Redeemer’s Kingdom by all methods in accord with the Word of God.”
